Section 4.6 has been updated to include information regarding fertility. The manufacturers advise women of childbearing potential to use effective contraception during treatment and that sexually mature males are advised not to father a child during treatment and up to 6 months thereafter. Men are also advised to seek counselling on sperm storage before starting treatment due to the possibility of Alimta treatment causing irreversible infertility.
