Volmax 4mg and 8mg controlled release tablets will be discontinued by Allen & Hanburys from the end of October 2008.

Healthcare professionals should ensure that patients on Volmax are transferred to a suitable alternative, of which there are many products. This may require a dose adjustment and frequent monitoring for worsening of symptoms or adverse events.
