According to PharmaTimes, the European Commission has granted marketing authorisation for Avamys™ (fluticasone furoate), a once-daily nasal spray for the treatment of the symptoms of allergic rhinitis. The approval is based on data from five Phase III clinical trials. The drug was approved by the FDA in April 2007 under the brand name Veramyst™.
