NICE has published a costing template to accompany its guidance on the use of cetuximab, bevacizumab and panitumumab for the second-line treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer (TA 242).

The costing template can be used by health communities to assess the local impact of implementing the guidance, based on the local population.
 

The template states that because cetuximab, bevacizumab and panitumumab are not recommended for routine use within the NHS, a significant impact on resources is not anticipated.
