The Department of Health has produced a ‘Keep Warm Keep Well’ leaflet, giving advice on staying well in cold weather and the financial help that is available, covering issues such as healthy lifestyle, flu jabs and heating.  ‘Keep Warm Keep Well’ is part of the Department’s Cold Weather Plan, which aims to protect people’s health and reduce harm from severe cold.
