BMA: Nearly 2000 amendments are not enough to save health bill

According to a report by the British Medical Journal (BMJ), the British Medical Association (BMA) has said that the Health and Social Care Bill amendments announced last week have done little to tackle the underlying problems of the bill, which remains fundamentally flawed and should be withdrawn.  The BMA has sent a briefing paper to peers ahead of the report stage in the House of Lords, which starts on 8 February (please see the link below for details).
