The US FDA has granted imatinib (Gleevec®) regular approval for use in adult patients who have had surgical removal of CD117-positive gastrointestinal stromal tumours (GIST), but who are at increased risk of recurrence.  Accelerated approval was granted for this indication in 2008; the results of confirmatory clinical trials are now available and show a prolonged survival associated with its use in this setting.  Please see the link below for further information.
