The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) is undertaking a review to decide whether the NICE clinical guideline on bipolar disorder (CG38) should be updated.  Within the review proposal consultation document, NICE has concluded that the guideline should be considered for an update at this time.

Registered stakeholders for this guideline are invited to comment on the provisional review decision via the NICE website (see link below). Individuals and organisations not registered as stakeholders are not able to comment. It is recommended that they register as a stakeholder or contact the registered stakeholder organisation that most closely represents their interests and pass their comments to them.
 
The review proposal consultation runs from 2nd June – 15th June 2011
