Further to previous reports (see link to NeLM below), PharmaTimes has confirmed that the NHS is suing Reckitt Benckiser for £89 million, following an investigation by the Office of Fair Trading that it had abused its dominant market position in the UK heartburn market.  The Department of Health said it could not comment the case, but Reckitt said it will "vigorously defend" its position.
