The Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) of the EMEA has started a safety review of bufexamac-containing topical medicinal products, due to concerns over allergic contact reactions.  The CHMP will assess the impact of these concerns on the overall risk-benefit balance of the products.
