The UK Medicines Information network, in collaboration with clinical, specialist pharmacy, and patient safety colleagues have produced a tool to aid organisations implement the NPSA rapid response report on omitted and delayed medicines.  The tool uses a traffic light system to classify risks associated with omission or delay for the majority of licensed medicines.  UKMi have developed the tool to prevent duplication of effort for individual organisations in responding to the alert and to guide local implementation strategies.
