MHRA: Suspected adverse reactions to flu antivirals and vaccines confirm recognised safety profile

The February 2010 issue of Drug Safety Update from the MHRA contains an article updating reports of suspected adverse reactions received up to 19th Jan 2010 for the antiviral medicines (oseltamivir and zanamivir) and vaccines (Celvapan® and Pandemrix®) in use to help manage swine flu. 

No unexpected new safety issues have been identified from reports received to date for the vaccines, and no new issues have been identified with oseltamivir and zanamivir.  The safety of these medicines will continue to be kept under close review; any suspected adverse reactions can be reported via www.mhra.gov.uk/swineflu.  Please see the link below for details.
