NICE has published a clinical guideline (CG98) on the clinical recognition, assessment and treatment of neonatal jaundice in babies from birth to 28 days.

The recommendations cover the use of phototherapy as a treatment option for neonatal hyperbilirubinaemia and highlight which drug therapies should be avoided in this setting.
