The Scottish Medicines Consortium (SMC) is not able to recommend the use of glucosamine sulphate (Dolenio®) within NHS Scotland for symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee, as the holder of the marketing authorisation has not made a submission to SMC.
