The NHS North East Treatment Advisory Group (NETAG) has issued a recommendation and associated appraisal report on paliperidone depot injection (Xeplion) for schizophrenia. The Group did not recommend its use due to uncertainty regarding clinical efficacy and cost-effectiveness had not been adequately demonstrated.
