The NHS North East Treatment Advisory Group (NETAG) has issued a recommendation and associated appraisal report on collagenase (Xiapex) for Dupuytren’s contracture. The Group did not support this use due to the absence of a direct clinical comparison with established treatment options such as surgery, and uncertainty regarding patient numbers and treatment costs.
