The Midlands Therapeutics Review and Advisory Committee (MTRAC) has reviewed the evidence on duloxetine (Cymbalta®) for the treatment of generalised anxiety disorder (GAD).

The Committee concluded that duloxetine is suitable for prescribing in primary care for the treatment of GAD. However, it is considered to have a low place in therapy.
