The DTB has reviewed ezetimibe (Ezetrol™) in the light of new safety and efficacy data and the availability of a fixed-dose combination product containing simvastatin and ezetimibe (Inegy™).

The review focuses on its place in therapy, concerns of an increased risk of cancer and cost issues.
